Philippines 2010 Election

Few months left and election is fast approaching. Numerous advertisements of various Presidentiables and Vice Presidentiables are flashing on our screen. Showing more than thrice in a show, imagine how much money they spent for these? Will these worth it?

Nakatulog ka na ba sa dagat ng basura, nagpasko ka na ba sa gitna ng kalsada, tinatanong namin, tunay ka bang isa sa amin?” I bet you know who’s jingle is that? Not only that one, he has lots of videos aside from that, I wonder if he also could make a video torrents?

“Hindi ka nag-iisa, sa pagsulong ng bayan, ikaw ang karamay” And this one too, medyo may sablay nga lang lyrics ko jejeje….

“Libreng gamot para sa mahihirap, college graduate lahat ng pamilya” Owws, talaga, they can make the medicines free and is it really possible to make Filipinos enter into college? Hmmmm….

“Noong ako ay bata pa, mahirap lang kami, nasunugan at tanging barya lang ang naiwan sa amin ng aking tatay” hey, I have nothing to say. Gaining the viewers empathy?

Those are only few of the Filipino politicians hopefuls this 2010 elections, trying to gain popularity and hoping that it will help them earn more votes. I wonder why none of them promotes Greener Philippines, garbageless country and clean? 🙁

In our hands lay the future of our country, we are the ones responsible for choosing the best among them, let us all be smart and choose who really is the right President and VP for the Philippines. Let’s look not into the countless advertisements and promotions, let’s try to look into the sincerity and the real purpose of those candidates. Let’s not help those candidates whom we know and feel will just make our country poorer and destitute; corrupt and self-centered candidates are not worth a single vote.

Be smart! Choose the best!
