Under the Heat of the Sun

It’s already summer time, and you can feel the heat of the sun. Swimming pools, beaches, anything that will freshen you up is now in demand. Many people are now travelling far from home just to go to places where they can beat the summer heat, places like Boracay, Palawan, Puerto Gallera, Tagaytay, Baguio, Batangas to name just a few.

I myself want to spend my summer time in beaches, if only I could take a week long vacation from work and visit places like Boracay – I will do it. But for now, disregard this dream of spending time in white beach. I will not only be having a week long vacation – better than that, as I will be staying away from work for more than 60 days from now.. Cool right! So many times to spend summer. But forget it first, I left my work because I am expected to give birth anytime from now, afterwhich, will be spending my entire time with my daughter. This is better than visiting Boracay right?

I remember the last time we bonded with our college friends, it was almost two years ago, March 20, 2010 to be exact. We spent wee time laughing and swimming together in one of the private resorts in Los Banos Laguna – the Karaaje Resort. As the normal get together – we had foods to share, stories to tell and a videoke to sing 🙂 the latter of course bring the night more fun, plus of course a swimming pool to freshen us up. After the fun, we took a nap late dawn and woke up at sun rise, witnessing that the pool’s water was being replaced using pool pump motors.

karaaje with friends

This overnight swimming was the last we had. We now have to take different paths as we are now enjoying our separate lives as married individuals. During this Karaaje moment – we were single and unmarried, now, we are married and about to become mothers 🙂 Fun!

Till then,
