Ilocos Part 5: Pagudpud Ocean Splurge

I 100% love beach. In fact it is my long long dream to visit Boracay and let my skin gets tanned. I never mind being burnt I so love beach and must enjoy it to the limit…

Thanks to Pagudpud for somehow satisfying my urge for Boracay. Pagudpud is one of the nests of beautiful beaches of the North. You can find relaxing white sand in Pagudpud, somehow resembles Boracay, not fine but at least white. It is a haven for tourists, it has also been discovered as the best location for water sports. Blue Lagoon is a must visit, they say that the waves in Blue Lagoon in Balaoi has attracted pro-surfers.

After our tiring tour at Baluarte, Vigan Heritage City, Paoay Church and Sand Dunes, we went right away to Pagudpud (nakakapudpod hehe), can’t remember how long our travel from Sand Dunes to Pagudpud was all I knew, it was that long, 3,4 hours? Almost!

There were various resort to choose from, and we had Hanna’s. David clan stayed in a wooden house with 2 rooms, 4-5 queen sized beds, 5 comfort rooms, kitchen, for 2 nights, all for only Php6k, group of 24 persons. Very affordable isn’t it?

Hanna’s beach resort is a perfect place where you can view nice sunset. You can enjoy activities such as zipline for Php600/person, banana boat for Php400/per person for 30 minutes, kayak Php300/person, and jetski Php4,500. Wear your best swimwear,  slim, sexy or healthy, wear it anyway, any beach house swimwear plus size will even do.

We enjoyed our stay in the beach although it was a bit windy that time due to tropical depression, God is good for keeping us all safe.

Planning a beach tour or some white sand and some adventures, I suggest Pagudpud 😉 It is also a good spot for photography.

Till then,
