Way too old – throwback time. It was June 2014 when my husband had his vacation. In time for his birthday and our wedding anniversary. And since he rarely is with us during these momentous events of our lives, we decided to take the most out of it. I even made a calendar of activities, planned places to visit during his vacation. First on the list – Baguio.
On June 11, our 3rd wedding anniversary (and as my facebook album Jhaydii’s First in Baguio says), we went to Baguio City, and it was JD’s another first, and xnth time long travel, we had no worries about it as she is already used to traveling long hours. We went there by the bus and took us four hours. Prior to having our 2 days stay, I informed my friend Edna about it so she could spare some of her time to meet us. But unlike our first time in Baguio wherein we , we stayed at Eurotel (naks sosyal hotel!) Oh oh, thanks to IHG Rewards Club, the points I earned during my 3 week stay at Holiday Inn Park Cities Dallas gave me 25K+ points, that I used to redeem and purchased a night stay at Eurotel. Seemed like a free overnight stay right?
No long respite when we got there at the hotel, we just dropped our bags and headed towards Mines View Park, it was cloudy then with a slight rainshower. Afterwards, we went to a garden that I forgot the name then to Mansion (Baguio Mansion) and took numerous photos. The day was over with that slight sight seeing, it was not a good weather condition to try to bring JD to a park where she could enjoy, we did not want to take a risk of having JD a fever because of the bad weather, so we just went back at the hotel and had some dinner nearby.
Then the next day, it was time to meet my friend. We waited at the Burnham Park, after few minutes, they arrived, Edna and Angela. Because we were at the lake, and JD was very eager to ride a boat, we hastily rented a swan so that JD could experience boating under the rain wahe… Albeit that it was raining, JD still enjoyed the ride 🙂
Photos to follow 😉 here yogo 🙂 after 45 years!
Till then,
